Offset print control FILM scales (2 types: 4H, 4H2)
We produce control scales by contact exposure of ultra fine-grain matrix onto UV daylight film. Individual elements (dots, lines) are prepared in 10times enlargement and then reduced by special microfilm technique. Elements are therefore geometrically identical, with high sharpness of edges.
4H
4 strips of UV film (C, M, Y, K strips) with printing length 560mm. Patches 5x5 mm each.
12x basic sequence BALANCE-B-C-M-Y with cca 45 mm period, 2x trap overprint.
For each colour further: 2x triads 80%-40%-SLUR, 2x set of microlines+highlight dots, 1x dot gain measure.
4H2
4 strips of UV film (C, M, Y, K strips) with printing length 750mm. Patches 5x5 mm each.
24x basic sequence B-C-M-Y with 30 mm period, 2x pair 80%-BALANCE, 1x trap overprint.
For each colour further: 4x pairs 80%-40%, 1x slur, 1x microlines, 1x highlight dots, 1x dot gain measure.
Offset print control DIGITAL scales 4D (1 set of 12 scales)
Our EPS-format scales have regular period of solids (C-M-Y-K patches).
There are 4 basic types - with 30 - 32,5 - 60 - 65 millimetres period.
Each scale is in three lenghtes - for A4 (31 cm), A3+ (45 cm) and B2 (75 cm) format.
Available in Win and Mac versions. Please specify in your order.
4D30 Print control scale. 30mm period of CMYK solids. Lengthes: 315, 465, 765 mm.
40-80% dot gain, 80% balance, slur (secror stars), trapping. 5x7mm patches.
4D32,5 Print control scale. 32,5mm period of CMYK solids. Lengthes: 315, 460, 765 mm.
40-80% dot gain, 80% balance, slur (secror stars), trapping. 5x7mm patches.
4D60 Print control scale. 60mm period of CMYK solids. Lengthes: 315, 475, 775 mm.
40-80% dot gain, 40-80% balance, slur (concentric circles), trapping. 5x7mm patches.
4D65 Print control scale. 65mm period of CMYK solids. Lengthes: 314, 471, 775 mm.

Offset print control set 4R1: FILM+DIGITAL scales
We offer you special set of two versions of the same scale.
4R1 set consists of
10 pcs. of film scales 4R1F and 1 disk with digital scales 4R1D in 4 lengthes.
Scales have identical patches sequence. Film strips have moreover microlines and highlight dots for detailed evaluation of platemaking and print.
4R1F - film scale
4 strips of UV film (C, M, Y, K strips) with printing length 1080 mm. Patches 7x5 mm each.
33x basic sequence B-C-M-Y with cca 32,5 mm period, 16x BALANCE, 1x trap overprint.
For each colour further: 4x pair 80%-40%, 4x SLUR halved into 2 line fields.
2x sets of microlines and highlight dots are situated under the scale.
